Senators urge USPS to modernize vehicle fleet
On April 23, Senators Cory Booker (D-NJ), Gary Peters (D-MI) and Brian Schatz (D-HI) sent a letter to Postmaster General Megan Brennan urging the USPS to modernize it's vehicle fleet, citing increasing overhead resulting from the age of the current fleet. The USPS recently sent out a request for information for proposals to update the largest non-military vehicle fleet within the U.S. Government.
