I began working for the Postal Service in August 1971. I worked until August 1972. I left and went to college and the U.S. Army. I returned in the Spring of 1981. I worked as a letter carrier until 1984. At that time, I became a maintenance employee. I moved up to Electronic Technician. I decided to move to Building Mechanic. In the Summer of 2004, I became a 204-B and in December 2004, I became Supervisor, Maintenance Operations. I worked in Labor Relations for approximately 2 years and ultimately returned to my supervisor position. I retired on October 1, 2010. I had a wonderful career and I do not understand why other departments are so hostile toward one another. In November 2008, I became President of Branch 131 of NAPS. My second term ends in November 2012.
